Did you ever found yourself speechless? To explain myself more accurately… did something exceeded your expectations to the point where you are speechless? 

This story happened a while ago when I saw an ad on Instagram. Reiki healer…hmmmm! I had no idea what Reiki was, I was familiar with the name, but had no idea about what was it exactly, and of course, I went immediately to our pillar of knowledge, the almighty Google. Ok…it started to get some shape! 

I have to admit it, I was a bit puzzled . Ok…is a lie! I was totally in darkness, I really didn’t had the slightest faith in the matter. But the idea was still on my mind for months till one day when I decided to contact Sherif. I took an appointment. Yay!

I still remember the feeling right before going, I was a mess. I had all this questions going through my mind, how can this work? is something external meaning there was no exercise required from me, for sure is a waste of my time. I am sure to a lot of you would’ve felt the same. It’s actually happening to me every time I am trying something new. Is that small piece of my Ego telling me I am on unsafe territory, swimming in uncharted waters.

I met Sherif and I was really impressed, he was such a good listener, I really felt that finally someone with whom I can talk and understands many things. He explained to me the concept of Reiki and I apologized for being such a curious person. He behaved like the best therapist I’ve ever tried. I found amazing the fact that Reiki works and you don’t even have to make the effort of believing. The weird part was when I had to lie down wearing an eye cover.

The session was short but I will never forget it. I felt emotions that I wasn’t prepared to feel. It was like experiencing a parallel universe with my eyes closed. Sensations, colors, weird noises but very pleasant. The energies surrounding us are very vivid when they are channeled the right way. And Sherif is one of the best to do it. His calm voice and big smile are truly inspiring.

Do I recommend this? With all my heart, unforgettable experience! There are things happening beyond us which we don’t understand, and even though I cannot draw a scientific map of this experience, I am still amazed by its power. But it was beyond my expectations.

We should unleash ourselves more often. Experience new things, see new people, feel new sensations. It is liberating. It changes perspective of things. It gives more clarity, understanding and grounding.

Reiki is one of those things which, even though is not understood 100%, we know for sure is working because one can feel it with every cell of his body. Is colored, is emotional, is extraordinary, is a game changer! 

Meeting Sherif was a very cool experience and I couldn’t recommend him enough to everyone. If someone will ask me to describe him with one word I will have to go with “peaceful“.

Keep enlightening the world, Sherif, we need more people like you! Sometimes the best moments in life are coming from unexpected places, from unexpected people, from the weirdest circumstances.
