Emotional brand
Yes, dear reader, that is correct: Emotional brand. I am sure that your mind went immediately to something like Louis Vuitton or Prada but is absolutely normal considering the use of the word “brand”, right?
Each and every one of us has something called emotional brand, is true no one talks about it as much as it should because of the simple fact that, in general, we do not reflect
about our life as much as we should. Emotional brand means what type of thoughts we have, let’s say, 70-80% of the time.
These thoughts are always there, the way we react when the Starbucks coffee is cold or when we just missed the bus. In other words the emotional brand is our inner voice.
This voice has always a tonality, is gentle, is harsh, is aggressive, how is it exactly? Start right now and be honest with yourself, how is this voice truly? Because, dear reader, this exact voice is dictating every action of your life and, most probably, you didn’t even noticed it. Is the thing that gives you wings or puts you down, is empowering you or is reminding you every time that you are nothing. This inner voice is not ours, we didn’t create it, it was given to us by all our caretakers. But, of course, stays with us for the rest of our lives, unless we choose to change it.

That’s why reflection on your daily thoughts is not necessary, is imperative. In order to understand actions, ideas, thoughts we must be very careful to listen what is our emotional brand.
How we react to the smallest things? How we connect with people around us? How we report ourselves to winning and losing? Who are we and things don’t work out in our favor? How do we feel when we see people in a better place in life?
Sometimes we feel lost, we feel we’re losing grounding and you can actually hear it right there on the spot: “I told you you can’t make it!” Or “At least I know where I was wrong, next time will be perfect!”
Which one is it for you? Harsh and aggressive or kind and empowering?
Remember you can choose it. Yes, I agree, the change is long, hard and will make you want to give up every second but the result is so spectacular that, believe me, you wish you’ve make it sooner. The only thing that is stopping you to get to all places you dream of is YOU.
So, my dear reader, what is your emotional brand?
